How to have Finder's sidebar link for "Pictures" target my external drive?

okay, moved iphoto library external drive , checks out okay.

convenience, when want browse photos, i'd able open finder , click on "pictures," if photos on computer's hard drive. of now, open folder has ichat icons, blank copy of iphoto library , ipod photo cache.

there way have sidebar link take me external hard drive's photos?
