have pretty backup regime, using time machine, carbon copy cloner, chronosync, hdd's, usb , dropbox want add optical disc mix.
have used 250gb of mbp's hdd.
other restrospect have other thoughts on software?
i've got lg blu ray drive can backup quite bit @ time.

why want add optical medium mix?
aren't hdds sufficient enough needs?
backup followed: have 1 500 gb hdd photographs (digital , analog) libraries , editing documents, 1 500 gb hdd personal video footage in editing friendly format.
both 500 gb hdds backed 1 one tb hdd via carboncopycloner.
, 1 tb hdd gets backed 1 tb hdd via carboncopycloner.
therefore have 3 copies of important data.
