after examining macbook air 13's heatsink on both 2010 , 2011 models, seems me there space better heatsink design. heatsink more surface area @ expense of being heavier benefit of keepin these chips operating @ cooler temperatures while minimizing fan noise. also, looks more expensive fan options exist flow more air better pressure ratios.
happy pay 1 cools cpu/gpu better current flat aluminum design so, has tried building better heatsink solution?
just because there room available, not mean filling room more aluminum or copper make better. might impede airflow other chips don't have heatsinks on them still need fresh air stay cool enough.
