i'm not sure how tell difference if iphone unlocked or jailbroken it's 1 of 2 , want upgrade ios 5 tried tonight on redsnow , went fine end when phone suppose restore got stuck in recovery mode screen went black , took me hours normal. if has better way that'll work upgrade that'd great.
your phone needs jailbroken in order unlock phone installing program in cydia called ultrasn0w.
, ultrasn0w works on basebands.
if have cydia icon on phone, means jailbroken.
if install ultrasn0w 1.2.5, jailbroken.
