New iPad vs MBA vs MBP

i giving beast of pc dad business office pc (with nice 120hz lcd monitor)

want buy mac or new ipad. have iphone 4s.

can work on ipad? can rdp servers? know ipad serves content device can read, browse, check email, etc works on it?

if not ipad, need mbp or mba. can't wait longer have heard new macs coming out soon...

pls advise

 

get macbook pro

if want computer, shouldn't ipad. have ipad2 , tried using main device college, has few limitations don't make right fit looking replace actual computer.

macbook air nice , portable. ssd, became tempting, lack of odd, , inability upgrade ram make computer never buy.

bought 15" mbp , couldn't happier it. odd use , wouldn't want separate device. have ability upgrade ram , various ports connectivity sold me.
