New 1080p videos from iTunes incompatible with iPhone 4S?

i tried copy new 1080p content itunes iphone, unfortunately did not work. why?! know display has resolution of 960 x 640, not want have 2 video files, 1 mobile, 1 computer on hard drive. waste of space.

 

that'll little odd. podcasts , other video files @ 1080p play fine on 4s.
