GetPrivateProfileString can't read INI file from Lion Server Samba Share

my lion server's build-in samba server works pretty windows 7 , xp clients. can open, edit, save , delete files on samba share windows client. problem windows api getprivateprofilestring (and other related functions) cannot read ini files samba share. yes, problem. open, edit , save same ini file use text editor, not via windows apis. cause huge problem because windows application our business using apis read ini files.

must bug or settings in lion server's build-in samba. because work around install samba 3, , worked perfectly.

however, i'd rather use build in samba server if windows app can ready ini files it. samba 3 works well, build-in server easier manage.

experience same problem out there? and, solutions?
