Airport Extreme: Whats the potential for the firmware update to become corrupted?

does know how can tell if firmware update made corrupted or foobared during actual update process?

used 5.5.3 utility update airport extreme other day 7.6.1 , going through motions way router reboot part...

doing update wirelessly , somehow airport utility on laptop couldn't detect rebooted router (no airport detected) - never got "update successful confirmation."

however, using airport utility on other computers, able verify airport extreme @ 7.6.1 (plus showed "firmware 7.6.1 initialized" in logs), wondering if screwed if didn't see "update successful confirmation" during formal update process?

seems continue working fine though, far can tell on airport extreme after update...

nah it's normal. when reboots airport utility can't find anymore. fine !
