great purchase! i'd trust dropbox. you're talking encrypted/secure database, stored on cloud behind account (ideally unique email address...?). use it, , works great between os x/ipad/iphone.
afaik, if don't want use don't have too. that's keeping data across platforms. if want information on phone enter information , don't bother syncing options.
