New airport express clicks on track change when streaming itunes

hi

stream music wirelessly imac computer through airport express via optical out of airport express dac converter , stereo. got new airport extreme base station , new airport express experiencing intermittent dropout when playing if microwave on..

new airport extreme , airport express no dropouts system clicks loudly every time track changes or skip track in itunes.

seems problem new airport express (wireless n) because if change old airport express (wireless g), there no clicking.

i'm running 7.6.1 on airport extreme base station , new airport express , 6.3 on old airport express.

ideas or fixes?

known issue?

i had problem connected old rotel system via optical.... problem airport express doesn't have clock inside, instead uses software clock broadcast stream, why itunes can sync between airplay devices , internal sound (and match).

dac's loose lock when no signal being sent via optical i.e. when track changes.
