morning everyone,
purchased apple tv 2 gainsaver. got yesterday, plugged in, , woosh, black screen. i've learned lot since yesterday @ 3 pm, including different hdmi , usb cables, resetting , dfu mode, etc. 1 common thing have noticed throughout atv2 boot in recovery mode. whenever in itunes see summary page , option restore. in tinyumbrella force out of recovery , goes right in under different recovery device number. have tried recboot no avail. furthermore, have restored atv 2 @ least 10 times. else have advice.
other info: have seen "plug itunes" icon @ points, , have seen apple logo around 5-10 secs, black on screen. tv emerson lc320em1 720p hdtv.

so recovered via itunes, using micro-usb cable , when restore done , told hook tv still wouldn't boot?
