Software from old hard drive showing up in new hard drive?

i got new ssd macbook pro (late 2009 model) , got snow leopard installed on it, etc. because old hard drive being funky , not being recognized mbp reason.

anyway, after got snow leopard on it, noticed in system preferences pane, in 'other' row, program macfuse shows though didn't install it. indicator of problem mbp or normal macfuse transfer on new hard drive? don't know how hardware functions maybe program installs different part of mbp , not hard drive?
