i cant find ssd, installed it, tested worked.
bussy install os on disc, @ time, wanted later.
after sleeps, unsafe removal of drive message came up. again still no time it.
have had two(2) firmware updates on mac since then, , both times, drive worked sleeps after that...
want both ensure work , install mountain lion dp2 on it. , yes disk utility wont find it, booting usb install media.
similar issue , fix
had same issue describing not system detect drive properly.
had boot 10.6 dvd while drive plugged macbook pro external usb device. ran disk utility , able repartition , format drive. reinstalled drive macbook pro , ran through normal os reload.
