well, viewing photos shot 1 year ago , realize totally suck. deleting out of focus/unsharp photos hard drive space ultra valuable. many of photographers posting in section pointed out me free of charge!
so, how many photographers view older photos , delete them on regular basis? i'm being careful, because photos aren't on professional level, part of footprint photographer. there different takes on that?
furthermore, keeper percentage has decreased during period. not nail perfect shot per se, thought keeping 35-50% of photos common. also, read thread few weeks in op asked percentage of keepers in people's daily or weekly shoots. sorta surprised 10% keeper rate. understand becoming better photographer, if not more judgmental one.
lastly, event or photo use 'do over'?
in aperture, i'll reject (9) photos never delete them. drive space cheap , easy come , keep number of aperture libraries don't have keep photos on single disk. never know when might want/need old "reject" photo again. once delete it, option gone.
last question... wish have "do over" vast majority of photos i've taken. learn more , more, wish give old photo try new found knowledge , newest gadgets. being able work photo in post gives me new ideas how have approached things differently start well.
