Valve Releases Steam Companion App for iPhone

valve, company behind popular gaming platform steam, has released new companion app iphone called steam mobile closed beta. app allows steam users view steam friends list, see games friends playing, , chat players in-game.

gamers can browse -- , apparently purchase, though app descriptions little fuzzy on point -- steam library of titles iphone. however, there no purchasing of ios games through app, that, aside fact steam doesn't support ios games, apple surely frown upon.
