The new iPad takes longer to charge?

so has here owns or has owned previous ipads owns new ipad noticed takes dramatically longer charge? i'm using 10w ipad charger, , standard charge comes ipods, , iphones yet thing takes forever charge! know battery apparently 70% bigger in order power new retina display, , preserve 10 hour battery life. curious if else has noticed this? i'm not complaining, let charge overnight, forgot last night. let charge while went gym morning. when came back, wasn't juiced ipad 2, or 1 have been after hour, , half.

 

if take minute read find has been mentioned many times. it's common sense really. bigger battery = longer charging time.
