slim portable external HD with firewire

been eyeing wd passport studio & g drive slim. ones firewire @ 0.7" thick while other usb 0.4" thin.

there external hardrives out there supports firewire slimmer wd mypassport studio?

 

checkout apricorn, use usb drive size of deck of cards them macbook air (shock protected , all). used have firewire 1 bit bigger. seem make products, can pricey.
