Options for 2 external displays on thunderbolt Macbook Pro

hello,
own 15 inch 2011 thunderbolt macbook pro , wanted have 2 external screens connected computer , wanted see options available , price.
far have found following:

1. 2 27 inch thunderbolt displays ($2000 + tax): elegant , best solution, pricey.

2. maxtor dualhead2go display port edition: 230$ + 1 more external screen = 450$ (already have 1 27 inch display). pros: price , cons: shows 1 big display in sys prefs vs 2 independent ones

3. thunderbolt pcie expansion + graphics card: pros: elegant solution, 2 external displays in sys prefs. cons: available preorder: 1000$ + 200 graphics card + 250 monitor = 1500$, not worth it... (http://www.magma.com/thunderbolt.asp)

missing options? right leaning towards maxtor dualhead2go else around 500$ suit me.

thanks!

my 2 cents:

should stay away dualhead2go. "show big display" big annoyance, os favors full screen. reliability issues well. owned 1 , sent back. using usb dvi adapter (my mbp pre-thunderbolt). works quite on mac better on pc (especially usb 3.0).

plan use mbp screen (and have total of 3 screens)?
