i had macbook pro, year , half old. backed on time capsule. hard drive went out on @ same time logic board... weird, no worries, under warranty , backed up.
so. go new laptop today, restore on time capsule. notice few programs missing, apparently due compatibility issues. (if software isn't compatible os 10.7.2 won't moved over.) no big deal, it's free stuff fire fox, google chrome, google earth.
here's problem:
use mamp program php. run php file has located in sub directory of application mamp. mamp not transferred on because not compatible. i've lost years worth of project work. countless hours gone.
i've dug time machine, no luck there, apparently new laptop has overridden previous backups... far can tell.
when enter time machine, there no history before today.
here appreciated!
