okay! so, friend has ipod touch. he's been saving money, , saving money , has on $1,300. (doesn't have job) since love apple , depended on me make decisions! don't want lead him in wrong direction. choices follows:

• macbook pro
• ipad 3 (when comes out) , windows laptop

what needs for:

• school essays / homework
• fun (games)
• internet
• fooling around
• experience

i know macbook pro better school work, laptop (windows)? think ipad , laptop better 'cause ipad portable, again, mac last though / until college (currently, in 7th grade), windows not last him long. so, should do?
