so got bd-rom drive can start ripping bds streaming atv 2, ipad, & iphone 4s. question is, movies have on both bd , dvd, necessary have both sd & hd versions in itunes? know before devices limited in playback ability, newer devices capable of playing hd versions, correct? figured i'd save space , rid of sd versions of these movies if they're not necessary.
correct, original ipad on should able play same hd content apple tv 2. use apple tv 2 setting in handbrake , works fine on iphone 4.
reason include sd copies see, save space on iphone, ipad, or ipod touch. if you're not worried (like me) go ahead , create hd copy.
