hey, bought new macbook pro today replace imac. lot of photo editing , needed portability. being said, monitor office. don't need big (no 30" display), looking around 24in. found few refurbished apple displays nice, question is: stick apple display or find brand? also, kind of cables need? vga better dvi?

no reason buy apple display imo. i'd go on newegg , read reviews of monitors fit size , budget requirements.
