sooo...who vinyl junkies on forum?

kind of started getting it. i've got dozen or albums @ point. bought beginner's turntable (audio technica at-pl60), , i'm not terribly happy performance, though guess can't complain $75. seems there's lot more noise there should during playback.

anyway, looking upgrade @ point in near future sub-$500 model, , wondering if here has recommendations on buy, or recommendations in general?

 

i haven't had turntable in long time , no means expert in subject... under impression audio quality improved higher quality needle , not needing replace entire unit.

if that's true, may able save money replacing needle.
