trackpad ergonomics

im noticing talk on trackpad vs magic mouse. i'm in favor mouse, since i'm feeling discomfort using pad. maybe i'm not using right? maybe i'm not laying hand on properly? if feel comfortable using trackpad, please tell me how you're positioning hand? on it? near it? input
