i considering purchase of mac mini server, dual 7200rpm drives in unit. have lot of amazon gift cards, unit cost me $200 out of own pocket.
anyway, 1 thing install client version of lion, have 2 quick questions:
1. know version of lion comes on usb thumb drive apple sells?
2. lion usb thumb drive boot on mac mini server?

i don't have server think know deal this. unlike snow leopard, server version of lion isn't different operating system. it's set of addins installed on top of normal install. example, can buy server addons mac app store , install without reformatting.
think can disable server features or reinstall , ignore installing them altogether. no need install drive since addins program installed.
