i haven't purchased or rented movies through itunes, don't know how works. have feeling not work this, wish did.
nice if whenever rent movie on itunes went sort of "credit" towards purchase of same movie. meaning if movie costs $20 , rent movie $5 watch once. if decide after i've seen buy it, nice have pay $15. if i've rented twice cost $10; 3 times cost $5, , 4 times free (technically cost 3 cents because each rental $4.99).
don't see problem such scenario. issue can see discourage purchasing, think encouraging renting counterbalance that. plus lot of people more hesitant buy movie $20 they've never seen, might more after rented it. thoughts?
i think you're suggesting great idea. perhaps credit rental toward purchase within 24 hours or something. movie, it's incentive buy it.
maybe suggest apple. bet convince knuckleheads in hollywood it's great idea within 2-3 years.
