may dumb question, here goes.
in order use usb ports on ministack, usb uplink cable have connected? wondering if use usb ports having firewire cable connected?
want free more usb ports, , have tried connecting firewire cable, , while usb ports powered, machine doesn't recognize/mount usb peripherals.

well, have earlier version. think it's safe hasn't changed.
yes, need usb connected between mini , ministack.
mine came short usb a-b cable purpose. isn't there special b input port on stack? doesn't take away possible output ports. may misremembering, , isn't near me go right now.
