a couple years had either 1 or 2 gb memory installed imac , after yr or 2 made computer act horrible because faulty somehow. okay fast forward, went ahead , bought patriot 2 gb pc2-5300 677mhz

after installing in in bank 0/bimm0 , booting it. seem have work fine. go out eat , dad turned on computer , didn't want boot desktop screen interface, stalls , rainbow mouse ball. ended freezing computer. reason bought memory install lion osx, require 2 gb of memory. right has 2gb 512mb. removed 2 gb memory bank 1/bimm1. started mac , seem run fine then. later in night mouse started act weird if harder move mouse around. mouse has new batteries. seem running fine today. did pram reboot few times.
should return memory? if using 1gb memory. haven't installed lion yet until play mac bit more.
try testing them memtest. return them if fail. imac can upgrade 4 gb ram. ram here. have lifetime warranties on them.
