March 7th "Launch Event"...?

so, may obvious question, i've looked around , haven't found answer. know event next wednesday supposed "launch event" ipad, mean they'll available on day purchase? or few weeks later?

nobody knows sure until 7th, previous launches of iphones , ipads, actual product launch has been week few weeks after announcement event.
