LTE in San Francisco? What???

i went apple store in marina area of sf , neither att or verizon ipad 3's showing lte.

took att ipad around presidio heights, pacific heights , cow hollow neighborhoods , never once saw lte light up.

looking @ att coverage map, appears there hole in area?

people getting strong lte speeds in sf - downtown , soma?

 

i took minute kick in i'm in santa clara , got 38 mbps down when tested earlier.
