hi all.
ever since updated ios 5.1 have had bad signal problems. prior update didnt have any. none of apps or imessage work when out , about. seem work when on wifi. phone , texts seem work little better having problems well.
because town (wilson nc) doesnt support new '4g' or whatever signal? advice appreciated!

as far understand it, fact phone potentially show 4g connection means little. it's not *actually* 4g (although debatable comment - essentially, it's not same "4g" connection you'd lte ipad).
i'm guessing you've said phone doesn't show 4g when you're in home town, essentially, phone still going connecting did before.
advice try hard reset (holding home , power button until device turns off), , if doesn't work, try restoring phone , see if works.
