I/O card issues

last week added i/o card mp 3,1 part number on card sy-pex40039, pcie 1.1 card 2 sata ports, capable of 6mbs. since added card, i've been getting pop ups smart reporter, indicating i/o errors, i've had issues outlook being unable sync exchange server, i've experienced weird issues booting, related card. when bought duped buying sata cable faster speed , since i've been having these issues figured either cable or card. morning i'd had enough , opened system , replaced 'faster' cable regular sata cable. since booting have had smart reporter message pop up, guess must card. wanted sound off here in case i'd missed or had other suggestions. before bought card ssd (which owc) connected 1 of onboard sata connectors , working fine, had none of of issues having now.

fwiw sandforce has bunch of issue non-standard sata link controllers. if can drive mac controller see if errors go away. or drive. die no warning though. pci card link.
