iBooks 2 can't sync files to jailbroken iPhone?

just updated ibooks 2.0, , have 5.0.1 jailbroken. reason no matter do, can't sync books iphone. shows them copying (even pdf's), once launch app nothing shows up. tried uninstalling ibookfix2, didn't help. can't uninstall ibooks when hold finger on it. red x missing....

 

did try rebooting phone? i've run issue before when installing apps , uninstalling them. weird yes necessary reboot before allow uninstall.
