Gmail IMAP problem: Local "Sent" folder is empty

hi all,

after years of pop3 switched imap last week. after days of downloading stuff gmail, runs nicely. sort of.

miss sent files. online can see them in gmail's "sent" folder, locally posts sent after switching imap. have no folder shows 9,000 sent posts see online.

can restart downloading sent mails? has got idea?
