How do you organize your pictures without keeping all in the iPad?

hi. wondering how people organize pictures without having pictures in ipad. able ipad photo album without having pictures in device itself. guess like itunes match. pictures in "cloud" somewhere , viewed kept on device. pictures on pc, or on photobucket, or icloud, don't know best option , give me seamless experience. has suggestion? how doing it?
