Help with syncing iPhone to new computer's iTunes. From PC to Mac.

i left job i'd sync iphone4s via itunes on pc. deactivated itunes account before left. want start syncing iphone macbook , itunes @ home. don't know do. itunes doesn't acknowledge device connected (however iphoto starts , tries sync photos, know it's not usb issue). know secret getting phone work mac after being used pc? thanks!
