i've got imac 7200rpm ssd option bit rich blood, performing upgrade myself looks huge pain. found elgato ssd intriguing:

i'll still waiting year or 2 prices come down, question is, perform internal drive sata iii speeds?
if so, sounds fantastic upgrade in due time...
you can buy 3rd party ssd , have apple-certified repair shop upgrade you. had done on previous imac. they'll charge $50-80 it.
