hi all, working client has win 2008 server , sonicwall router uses contractors can vpn in. on windows , think lot of grab files. know can grab files via vpn once set up.
question - can run quickbooks server? thinking vpn work file share , run programs if machine attaching (ie mac) can run program. (i have emailed sonicwall , have yet hear them, , client doesn't know).
seems windows 2000 server not allow logmein work, may allow remote desktop connection.
other alternative install windows on mb guess.

highly recommend against working on database file on vpn
quickbooks, use accounting, , using database live on internet begging have broken.
being that, error in vpn or internet connection create error in data being sent , forth , cause corruption in database. not @ all.
thay running server 2008? if so, rdp can work fine. don't set user login in have administrator account, begging trouble.
reason why logmein may not working restriction of local firewall on server. sonicwall wouldn't problem. if have support contract on sonicwall, should call them.
again. don't run database on vpn going asking bag of hurt.
