back in november, mbp running sluggish when ran disk utility said disk corrupted. thought no big deal, upgraded lion has redone. after restoring lion disk (twice way since restoring time machine messed files somewhere , genius said had restore again). now, seems mbp starting have same symptoms. run disk utility, lo , behold, "the disk cannot repaired. files , restore mac os x installation disc." pretty frustrating since laptop bought on first day of sandy bridge models (about year ago exactly) , paid high end model. should go genius bar , suggest hard drive failing? bought applecare i'm covered until 2014. this.
get applecare replace hard drive. there no question hard drive failing.
