Separate accounts for purchases and icloud?

would change accounts if had separate account purchases , icloud? i.e. u merge them both?


purchases on gmail account.

icloud stuff on firstname@me.com ... reason wanna keep because actual first name.

u guys see future complications regarding or safe keep purchasing on gmail, iclouding using different email?
