Resolved 1TB HDD vs 24GB SSD?

have dilemma. upgraded 13 macbook pro (early 2011, i5) 1tb hdd drive: http://wdc.com/global/products/specs/?driveid=951&language=1

, got free 240gb 1 ssd: http://www.amazon.com/ocz-technology-vertex-2-5-inch-vtx3-25sat3-240g/dp/b004qjm1hg

question simple really, answer might cause mixed feelings. guy wants in future use xcode, have photos on drive, music , videos etc. ssd due low capacity fitting needs? have carry around couple of external drives time have stuff me?

things change drive less original drive macbook pro?
