anyone have issues owc? more importantly customer service? while ago, along bunch of other things, (optibay, ssd, memory, etc) purchased express hdd enclosure them. cheap enough part, , thought use replaced hdd. site says enclosure will sleep drive when not in use.
well, mine never sleeps. wrote support ask it. simple 6 word reply "the enclosure not sleep drive"
thats it. no sorry mistake, no offer take , credit me toward purchase of better enclosure sleep drive, no, nothing. write them asking why site enclsoure states sleep drive? on week , no reply them.
sort of pisses me off lie/made error on website, provide curt reply , ignore follow up. not expecting much, @ least fix website , offer take mine , credit me, not unreasonable expect it?
type of service owc known for?
future buyers warned guess.
as company successful enough stay in business on 20 years , serve millions of customers owc has, they're had customers didn't have positive experience. however, have stellar reputation in mac community. known great products , service.
