New MBA ..now what should I do?

i'm new forum , need help!

phased out 2009 mbp , got new macbook air 1.7 i5 256gb.

have imac (2011 21.5) main home computer , storage. it's 2011 thunderbolt 500gb hard drive.

here's i'm thinking do.

1. keep imac backup , home computer , can extend desktop via thunderbolt mba

2. sell imac, refurbished apple display (27 inch) , use mac mini.

3. sell imac, refurbished apple display (27 inch) , use mba 1 , computer.

thoughts?

 

imo, option 1 works out best. less work do...


also, imac has screen real estate mba can never have, incase if work project needs more screen space, or more processing power, it's there.

of course, if selling imac nets tbd27, i'd go that. maybe include backup hdd, that's (imo, of course). don't think getting macmini on top of worthwhile (especially if it's non-amd gpu version).

myself, use borged windows setup small laptop, , big display @ home. it's convinient me. home, , have big display + kb/m work with.
