Is there any way AT ALL to get full disk encryption on a PowerPC Mac?

hi guys.

there way @ full disk encryption on powerpc mac system boot drive?

have dual 1.8ghz g5 running 10.5.8. using filevault @ moment, sucks (as protects home folder.) taking performance hit fde not issue me. software can find (pgp, checkpoint) intel-only.

hardware encryption, hardware-encrypted sata hard disk? got experience or links 1 of being used in powerpc mac?

 

have tried using truecrypt? i've not used on macs full disk encryption , 10.4 , above supported, , free.
