Is there any torrent-clients for Mac that actually won't freeze during "heavy" load?

so tried move torrent usage desktop running windows on mac mini 2011 model running 24/7 server today.

grabbed automatic (awesome application!) , created filters use torrent-client out there, whether got rss support or not automatically download regular stuff second it's available.

problem torrent client of choice under os x (transmission) isn't allowed on many private trackers latest 2.50 release because of awkward issues reported. i'm stuck older 2.42 release hangs , gives me beach-balls every time try download more few torrents @ once. works fine first few seconds, or minutes 4+ torrents loaded after hangs , have force quit , running after few seconds few minutes happens again. works when have less 3-4 torrents, more it's no-go seems.

same goes latest µtorrent mac (2.0.2), seems buggy client in first place anyway, tossing more few torrents mix , freezes well. µtorrent windows (keeping old 2.0.4) doing fine no matter if toss 2-3, or 50-100 torrents @ at once.

data saved on file-server measuring steady 90-140 mbps write performance on dual-link lacp connection, shouldn't problem there either.

client mac able handle traffic without freezing?

does transmission stop hanging after while? because hangs/does not react, when writes actual data hdd, can take while depending on size of torrent , location stored on (internal hdd, external hdd (usb, firewire, lan).
used transmission dozens of torrents @ time , good, when wrote data location stores in, did hang.
