Digital SLR and Mac Question

hello all,

have canon eos rebel slr camera , trying hook macbook pro pull pictures off, however, doesn't seem mounting properly. looks if camera , computer communicating, nothing happening , don't see in finder. looked in system profiler under usb tab , computer seeing camera, still have nothing. ideas? in advance...

 

make sure camera in mass storage mode.
