i have 3 mac's , have time capsule up, want make sure have of files on mac's. going buy @ least 1tb external hard drive , mac's on , unplug , store until need again.
easiest way? going go mac hd > users > , copy files external hard drive. easiest , best way everything? documents, pictures (in iphoto) , music?

don't use finder copy uhome folders, use carboncopycloner clone these folders onto external hdd, folder every user clone to.
have bootable backup made of 1 of macs, can troubleshoot mac in case internal hdd fracks up?
