Any way to run a MBP cooler?

okay, long story short: desireable run video game on mbp (current model). runs. runs smoothly , stuff. problem is:

1. runs fans @ max speed time.
2. runs pretty hot.

game hasn't got setting throttling frame rate. there reasonably sane can make things run cooler? way tell cpu run @ lower clock rate (or gpu) fine; totally happy half frame rate , slower fans.

1. normal, needs cool not fry.
2. more power being used = more heat, that's simple thermodynamics.

no, can't make run cooler, you're gaming on laptop, expect?
