Signal issue on Verizon

anyone else having issues verizon's signal issue on new ipad?

ipad in same spot iphone gets absolutely no bars while iphone 4s hass full service.
on ipad says cannot connect cellular data service. have no idea goin on.
tried restarting ipad, took out sim , still

 

i've been watching ipads signal in comparison iphone , signals seem pretty equal time. not problem mine far.
