non retina apps

so have question that's kinda worries me little bit.
know of iphone apps retina display friendly, , of them has ipad version too.
there still small portion of apps not converted retina display yet , looks awful when use in full screen mode on ipad.
extremely outdated app worse on new ipad?

doesn't affect me, since use ipad apps on ipad , use non-retina apps on iphone 4/4s..but i'm curious...

 

i wondering same. know? apple still being stupid making 960x640 compiled iphone apps run 480x360 on new ipad?
